Hardware. Mounting hardware is a set of eight 10-32 UNF bolts, usually an Allen or Phillips head with matching nylon locknuts. They are used to attach the trucks to the board.  Some sets have one different colored bolt to show which end is the nose of the skateboard.  Because of different setups, hardware comes in a variety of lengths.  As a general rule of thumb, your hardware should be 1 inch in length plus the thickness of any riser pads being used.  That is, if using 1/8 inch riser pads then your hardware would be 1 1/8 inch.
